Circulatory Massage was researched
and developed in 1988 by Dr. Robert Berube, a Doctor of Biochemistry,
Chiropractic and Homeopathy as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist and
Iridologist from Hudson, NH.
It consists of squeezing, wringing, and long brisk strokes to heighten the
mechanics of the cardiovascular system and move blood into areas where it has
been restricted or impeded. Deep, relaxed breathing enables the blood supply to
become fully oxygenated.
The benefits of this process include stimulation of blood circulation,
normalization of blood pressure, increased red blood cell production, restored
flexibility to vascular walls, elimination of metabolic toxins and fluids,
reduction of cardiovascular stress, stimulation of organ and glandular
functions, and it promotes healing and body warmth.
This therapy may assist in maintaining an already healthy circulatory system
or to rescue a chronically impaired system (from the factors of illness, trauma,
prolonged stress, lack of exercise, or poor diet) from further deterioration.
Can be beneficial with abnormal blood pressure, Raynaud's Disease,
varicosities, kidney disease, diabetes, pancreatic function and fluid retention.
